Our Journey πŸ‡°πŸ‡ͺ in Korea πŸ‡°πŸ‡·

A story of connection, resilience, and growth β€” building a home away from home.

The Kenyan community in Korea has steadily grown over the years, shaped by students, professionals, and entrepreneurs who came in pursuit of education, opportunity, and global experience. What began as scattered individuals across cities like Seoul, Busan, and Daejeon has evolved into a connected and supportive network.

With the support of the Embassy of Kenya in Seoul and community-led initiatives, Kenyans in Korea have built a structured network that goes beyond connection β€” it offers belonging. Through cultural celebrations, mentorship, welfare support, and information sharing, members are able to navigate life in Korea with unity and confidence.

Today, the community stands as a bridge between Kenya and Korea β€” preserving identity while embracing new opportunities, and ensuring that no Kenyan in Korea walks alone.

β€œFrom home to afar β€” we remain one community.”

Leadership & Governance

The community is guided by a leadership structure that works in close coordination with the Embassy of Kenya. This leadership ensures that community affairs are managed with transparency, accountability, and a strong commitment to service.

Through regular engagement, the leadership team facilitates dialogue, organizes programs, and represents the interests of Kenyans living in Korea.
